Dr. Gregg BeVier has over thirty-nine years of experience as a business executive and is currently based in Texas. His key achievements have been in the area of managing high performance global teams, especially in technology and agriculture.  He has worked in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and India. His specific interest is in technology transfer from scientists to farmers and consumers. In particular, he works with innovations that can be scaled and sustained towards the improvement of livestock productivity. He enjoys strategy and finding discontinuities and competitive sources of leverage in a particular business sector. His goal is to help others achieve their dreams through a culture of servant leadership. 

Gregg began his work with the SMU, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and helped the founding Dean to establish the clinical program in the USA. He works closely with Dr. Alan Emsley & Alexis Overstreet to help place students into their clinical program. He also works with Sexing Technologies as COO and he has worked with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as a Senior Program Officer.  Prior to the foundation he held various positions including the President of PIC (swine genetics), the Sr. VP of integrated livestock operations for Premium Standard Farms (now part of Smithfield Foods) and the Head of the Production Animal Global Enterprise for Merial, a global animal health company now owned by Boehringer Ingelheim.

Gregg is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Agriculture Science, M.S. in Animal Science, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and an MBA.
