St. Matthew's University School of Veterinary Medicine received its American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) listing in December 2005. The University is a Member Institution of the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC). The Ministry of Health Services, Agriculture, Aviation and Works of the Cayman Islands has granted St. Matthew's University School of Veterinary Medicine a full charter. SMUSVM is listed in the AAVMC’s Veterinary Medical School Admission Requirements (VMSAR) Directory of U.S., Canadian and International veterinary medical schools.
