“I chose St. Matthew’s because of the smaller class sizes, the accelerated program, the island, and that it’s close to home with daily flights. I have appreciated feeling like a human and not a number.”

Shanelle Haralson

SMU is a great university for anyone who loves to make/meet new people, for the adventurous type and for the ones who like their voice to be heard. SMU is great for letting you become the Veterinarian you have always dreamed of.

Yash Patel

At St. Matthew's, I've found the confidence to take on leadership roles through the Student Government, the Mentor Program, the Ambassador Program and being a Teaching Assistant. Being a vet student for me has been more than coming to lectures everyday. I’ve found a sense of community that has allowed me to grow as a person as well as a future veterinarian.

Victoria De Leva

I chose SMU Vet because of the small class sizes. I like that your professors really get to know you as a student and that you aren't just a number. I have had really great experiences as an SMU vet student from academics to making new lifelong friendships.
