Hear from Dr. Yash Patel, a SMUSVM alum, as he shares his veterinary journey from moving countries to pursuing a career as a veterinarian. Dr. Patel earned his undergraduate degree in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Arizona in 2019 and went on to graduate from St. Matthew’s University’s DVM program in Grand Cayman, completing his clinical year at Washington State University in 2025. He currently works as a veterinarian at Dale City Animal Hospital in Virginia.
